I had known about the Japanese camps, but never ready anything about them. Although I do understand the reason behind the camps, it is sad that they had to happen. War doesn't bring out the best in people that is for sure. Makes me so thankful I am not one of those people that ended up in the middle of a war between my home country and my birth country. I think the story, although hard to read and so sad is a part of history that has not really been talked about. Perhaps because it isn't something we are proud of?
