My THM Menu Plan Pioneer Woman style for November 11 - 17, 2019
Hello! Thank you for stopping in and visiting Mixing With Michelle. I have been doing THM since May of 2013. It has been an eventful journey, but very worth it. I have enjoyed cooking through all 3 of the THM cookbooks. I can't want for their new one to start a new adventure.
The next 2/3 months I am going to be working on eating down my pantry shelves. I have a garden each year and I use it to help lower my grocery bill. With having cooked through the cookbooks I haven't been as frugal. Especially with the Trim Healthy Table Cookbook. There were so many special ingredients I had to purchase. I am more of a plan and simple Jane kinda lady. I like to just eat what I have on hand instead of trying new things.
This week I borrowed the Pioneer Woman Cooks Dinnertime from my library. She has some delicious recipes that can easily be adapted to the THM lifestyle. So if you don't see a link you'll need to check out her book.
I started a FB group, called THM New Habits Challenge for some interactive support and new habits challenge. You can also participate on IG if you are more of an IG person.

Breakfasts
Huevos Raneros and Homemade Enchilada Sauce p.6-9 THM S - Use a low carb tortilla and I subbed with olive oil and used glucci to thicken the sauce
Florentine Scramble p.19 THM S - Swap cream for 1/2 & 1/2
Apple Spiced Pancakes THM E - sprouted flour, egg whites, cashew milk, and SF syrup
Lunches: - Leftovers with salad
Ginger Steak Salad p.36 THM S - use THM brown sugar
Buffalo Chicken Salad p.59-61 - THM S
Snacks:
Raspberry Fool THM S use THM sweetener
Baked Pumpkin Oatmeal THM E - use egg whites, THM brown sugar, 1/2 the butter, and Cashew milk
Suppers:
Chicken with Mustard Cream Sauce p.146-148 THM S with Beautiful Roasted Veggies p.290-291 use zucchini instead of butternut
Pumpkin Bacon Carbonara THM S use dreamfields or zoodles
Cajun Chicken Pasta p.188-190 THM S - dreamfields or zoodles, glucci to thicken
Pulled Pork p.228-230 THM S - THM brown sugar & SF BBQ sauce, over lettuce "bun"
