Book Review: Getting to Yes


 Getting To Yes by Roger Fishers

I am really not sure WHY I wanted to read this book. But I did. I almost didn't finish it.   Not that the book was bad, but it really didn't help me in my situation... or should I say it was not what I was expecting it to be.  I am not sure if I learned much of anything that I didn't already know.   I am thinking I need to be in the busines world to understand why this is a "great book".  Negotiating isn't done in anger. It won't work.  I think most days people think they can just plow there way to what they want, no matter who it hurts.  No one is going to change their mind unless you can get them sold on your idea. That is very elementary. I didn't need a book to tell me what.
