Louisiana Bayou Chicken THM E Style

I had found this recipe on the internet a while ago and link it to my thread but for some reason it disappeared so I am re-writing it for you all.


3 cups chopped red onion
3 cups chopped celery
1 1/2 cups chopped multicolored peppers
3 TBSP olive oil
3 lbs chicken breasts cubed
6 tsp garlic powder
1 jar salsa
1/2 tsp gluccie
2 TBSP water
3 TBSP dried parsley flakes
1 1/2 tsp sea salt
3/4 tsp hot pepper sauce
1 box dreamfields Cooked Spaghetti Noodles - I like to use spaghetti squash or cabbage sliced thinly.


Put all but the noodles to a bag. Freeze.  The night before you want to eat it, thaw. Cook in a large pot until desired thickness OR throw in a crock pot for 4-6 hours on low.. or until desired thickness.  Cook noodles separate and serve with the chicken mixture.Yield: 10 servings

    1. Its a thickener called Glucomannan.

    3. I used a 16 ounce jar for mine. :-)
