Langos - THM style

Something new I tried. It was inspired by a picture of a yummy dish my brother sent while he was on vacation in Europe. I looked up Langos on Wiki and this is what I came up with for a THM recipe.

First off, I used Gwen's Bread recipe for the bread. I cooked it on my cast iron skillet that is well seasoned.... I just grabbed a handful of dough and carefully flattened it with my hands to make it flat, almost like a pita would be.  So it was "fried" on a skillet, but yet not really. :-) I am sure fried would be even BETTER, but trying to stick without my rules for THM and enjoy the foods.   Anyway, while the dough is STILL warm add...

1/4 cups cottage cheese or greek yogurt for THM, Sour cream is what is traditionally used\
1/2 tsp cajun spice
crushed garlic

Mix together for the base/sauce.

Sprinkle with cheese. I used a SMALL sprinkle for THM E.

I also added dill over the top, just for a fun taste. It was SOOOOO good. I will be adding it to our summer lunch menu I think. We do salads and something that doesn't require making instead of soup. This will hit the spot!
